Frosty Blue is a clean, shiny light blue. Its translucency follows the thickness of the coat, and micro-crystals form across the surface as it fires, adding quiet depth. The clay body underneath shifts how vivid the blue reads.

Product details

A brush-on stoneware glaze for functional and decorative ware.

Smooth and fired to maturity, this glaze is suitable for tableware. More on getting that right in our guide, Food Safety in Ceramic Glazes.

Mixed in small batches and fire-tested in our Peckham studio.
Application guide

This ceramic glaze is ready for brush-on application. Stir thoroughly before use to ensure an even mix with no sediment. Apply 2-3 coats using a brush or sponge for a consistent finish. For varied effects, experiment with different application techniques and coat thicknesses, but be sure to protect your kiln shelves. Please note that results may vary depending on application thickness, firing temperature, and cycle. Testing is recommended.
Shipping and returns

UK orders placed before 11:00 are packed the same day. Standard UK delivery is FedEx Economy, usually 4 to 5 business days from the order, with faster UPS options at checkout. International orders go with FedEx or UPS, typically 2 to 7 working days. We accept returns of unopened items within 14 days of delivery. Full terms are in our shipping policy and refund policy.

Safety and handling

Do not ingest.
Keep away from eyes. If product gets into eyes rinse thoroughly with water. Avoid dust and dry glaze build up from evaporation of solution. Wash with a wet cloth only and do not sweep or dust off. Ensure adequate ventilation during firing.
