A throwing and trimming kit for makers past the basics, built around a tungsten trimming tool that holds an edge far longer than plain steel. Seven tools covering throwing, shaping, trimming and measuring on the wheel.

In the set:

  • Metal-handled cutting wire: slices clay from the block and releases pots from the wheel head.
  • Tungsten steel trimming tool: holds an edge through leather-hard porcelain and stoneware for clean, repeatable cuts.
  • Trimming spinner: sits on the wheel head and lets the pot spin freely while you turn a foot.
  • Inner-circumference callipers: measure inside diameters for lids and fitted forms.
  • Rubber throwing rib: shapes and compresses walls on the wheel.
  • Stainless steel kidney: smooths and refines walls and seams.
  • Metal loop trimming tool: a finer loop for detail work alongside the tungsten.
