The BuschKraft Dragonfly Pottery Carving Tool Starter Kit is a set of three ready-to-use carving tools and five spare blades, for outlining, sgraffito, relief carving and fine line work. Made in the USA and designed by Nicholai Busch.
In the kit:
- Three Dragonfly tools, each a universal handle with a blade fitted: small pointed, medium chisel and medium P-shape.
- One variety pack of five spare blades: fine pointed, small pointed, medium rounded, medium chisel and medium P-shape.
That makes eight blades in all. BuschKraft lists it as an 11 piece kit.
How the Dragonfly works: a knurled metal handle, inspired by drafting pens, holds each tip in a collet that grips any solid shaft between 3 and 4.5mm, so trimming, carving and detailing tips swap by hand with no extra tools. The tapered, balanced body gives close, steady control for fine work, and is machined, anodised aluminium with a stainless steel collet and blade pin. The standard blades do not need sharpening and are inexpensive to replace.

UK orders placed before 11:00 are packed the same day. Standard UK delivery is FedEx Economy, usually 4 to 5 business days from the order, with faster UPS options at checkout.
