The Forge System from BuschKraft, a modular pottery trimming tool for makers who trim every day. Made in the USA and designed by Nicholai Busch, who brings nearly twenty years in ceramics together with a background in engineering and product development.
The idea is minimal parts, maximum edge. A replaceable blade insert in stainless steel alloy does the cutting. It holds an edge through hard, sustained use and is sharp enough to shave paper-thin layers of clay. Two soft-touch silicone grips snap magnetically around the blade for a balanced, secure hold that reduces hand fatigue over a long session.
This starter kit contains three complete Forge tools, each a pair of grips with a stainless steel blade. When an edge finally dulls you sharpen the blade or swap the insert rather than replacing the whole tool, so it stays sharp and lasts. The design draws on homemade hacksaw-blade tools, Japanese-style L tools and the precision of a hobby knife, refined into one piece.
Shipping
Same-day delivery in London. Orders within London can be delivered the same day by Uber courier, at an extra cost based on your address. To order online, choose Collection at checkout, then email hello@glost-glaze.com or call us on 07956 002055 to book the courier, up to one hour before the shop closes. For phone orders we can send images of the items you are interested in and a PDF of everything we currently have in stock. We confirm the courier cost with you before sending.
United Kingdom. Orders placed before 11:00 are packed the same day, collected the next working day and sent on a 48 hour service, usually with FedEx.
International. FedEx or UPS, typically 2 to 7 working days depending on destination. Allow longer where customs clearance is involved. We are not currently shipping directly to consumers in the European Union.
Collection. You are welcome to collect your order from the shop at Railway Arch 848, Brayards Road, Peckham, London SE15 2AG.
Delivery times exclude weekends and bank holidays and may vary for reasons outside our control. Delivery charges are shown at checkout and are added to the price of your goods.
Customs, duties and taxes
United States: duties and taxes are charged at checkout and we pay them to customs on your behalf, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery.
Other international destinations: your order may be subject to import duties and taxes set by the destination country. These are your responsibility and are not collected at checkout. Please check with your local customs office before ordering.
Returns
We accept returns of unopened items in their original condition within 14 days of delivery. Used or tampered goods will not be refunded. Opened goods cannot be returned, including opened jars of glaze, opened bags of clay or dry materials, and opened underglazes or stains.
To return an item, pack it securely and post it to GLOST Glaze Studio & Shop, Railway Arch 848, Brayards Road, Peckham, London SE15 2AG, United Kingdom. Return postage is at your cost and risk, so we recommend a tracked service, as we cannot refund goods that do not reach us. Refunds are made to your original payment method once the items reach us.
Damaged orders
If your order arrives damaged, email hello@glost-glaze.com with your order number and a photo of the damage and we will put it right.
Cancelling an online order
You can cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving your goods. Email hello@glost-glaze.com with your order number. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
Workshops
Cancelled at least 8 weeks before the workshop date: full refund.
Cancelled between 8 and 4 weeks before the workshop date: 50% refund.
Cancelled less than 4 weeks before the workshop date: no refund.
Moving a booking to a different date is at our discretion and depends on the availability of future sessions.
Shop purchases
Items bought in person at the shop are covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and by the policies displayed in the shop.
None of this affects your statutory rights.
