Black is a deep, neutral black body and slip stain for colouring ceramic glazes, slips, engobes and clay bodies. Fires at 1000–1250°C, approximately Cone 06 to 7.
Typical use: 5–8% by weight in glaze recipes for opaque colour, or 10–18% in decorating slips. Mix dry into your base and sieve for even dispersion. Stains intermix freely to develop custom colours.
Made in Britain. Repacked by GLOST into 25g, 50g and 100g airtight sachets at our Peckham studio.
