A starter kit for the first months at the wheel and the table. Seven tools that cover the jobs you meet straight away: cutting, shaping, smoothing, trimming and cleaning up. Enough to work with, and nothing surplus.
In the set:
- Black wheel-throwing sponge on a stick: lifts water from the bottom of tall, narrow forms the hand cannot reach.
- Stainless steel kidney (small, straight curve point): smooths and scrapes walls and refines seams.
- Rubber-handled cutting wire: slices clay from the block and releases pots from the wheel head.
- Metal pin tool: scores, marks and checks wall thickness.
- Two metal loop trimming tools: turn feet and refine leather-hard surfaces.
- Small bicycle trimming tool: a springy recycled-spoke blade for fast, clean cuts.
- Small wooden kidney: smooths with a softer touch than steel.
Choose tools only, or the set packed in a khaki canvas tool roll that keeps everything together and rolls shut for carrying.
