Mastering Ceramic Glazes - Online Course

From

£300

Mastering Ceramic Glazes is a five-week online course designed to help you really understand what is happening in your glazes – and how to take control. We’ll cover chemistry fundamentals, how a glaze is constructed, the roles of silica, alumina and fluxes, how materials interact, application and firing basics, how to build a colour palette, and how to set up in your own studio so you can be more self-sufficient with testing and development. Each week includes clear handouts, practical experiments and access to recordings so you can revisit everything in your own time.

1) Self-Paced Course – Recordings & Online Materials Only

A flexible version you can join anytime, with no scheduled Zoom sessions, including:

  • All pre-recorded online lectures

  • Reading material and theoretical tasks

  • Hands-on experiment handouts with clear step-by-step instructions

  • Ongoing access to the online materials so you can work entirely at your own pace and revisit content whenever you need

2) Guided Course – Live Zoom + Recordings
