The Glazing Session

A 1.5-hour glazing session at the GLOST studio in Peckham. Open to everyone — complete beginners, casual makers, and working ceramicists who want to bring their own work and glaze it properly.

You'll work with the small-batch ceramic glazes we formulate and make here — the same ones used by potters across the UK. Some are smooth and predictable. Others crawl, bubble, and shift in ways that are hard to anticipate until the kiln has its say. The GLOST team are on hand throughout to explain how each glaze behaves, how to layer and combine them, and what to expect when they come out fired.

This is your session. You set the pace.

What's included

• 1.5 hours of glazing in the GLOST studio, Peckham
• All glazes, brushes, and tools
• Firing and collection of your finished pieces
• Guidance from the GLOST team throughout

Bisque pieces

The session fee covers your time and glazing. Bisque pieces are charged separately:

• Studio pieces up to 12x12cm — £14
• Studio pieces 12–20cm — £22
• Studio pieces 20–30cm — £30

Prefer to bring your own bisque? You're welcome to. Firing fees for your own pieces:

• Up to 12x12cm — £10
• 12–20cm — £16
• 20–30cm — £22

We don't accept pieces over 30cm. Additional pieces can be added on the day.

Collection

Everything goes into the kiln after your session and is ready to collect within a week.

Cancellations

Cancellations made more than one month before your session are eligible for a full refund. Within one month, we are unable to offer a refund but will always do our best to move your booking to another available date.
