A concentrated underglaze in 60ml bottles, for painting colour onto raw or dried clay before glazing. The bottles are labelled in Chinese, so this page gives you the maker's details and directions in English.
We have tested these colours in our own kiln before putting them out in the shop.
The details
- Bottle: 60ml
- Price: £5.50
- Firing range, from the maker: 1100 to 1300°C
- Lead-free, according to the maker, who lists no substances of high concern in the colour.
How to use it
The maker's directions:
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Apply a layer to raw or dried ware.
- Keep the brush from carrying too much water. Extra water thins the colour.
- Let each layer dry for 1 to 2 minutes before you add the next.
